Quick Start Guide

Welcome to ContProtect! This guide will get you up and running in just 5 minutes.

Step 1: Complete Your Profile

First, make sure your business profile is complete:

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Add your business name, phone, and address
  3. Upload your logo (recommended for QR codes)
  4. Set your service areas and trade specialties

Step 2: Add Your First Customer

Navigate to Customers → Add Customer and enter:

  • Customer name and contact info
  • Service address
  • Any notes about their property

Step 3: Create a Job

For each installation or service:

  1. Go to Jobs → New Job
  2. Select the customer
  3. Add job details and equipment info
  4. Set the warranty period
  5. Save and generate QR code

Step 4: Print Your QR Sticker

Each job gets a unique QR code. Print it and stick it on the equipment. When customers scan it, they see warranty info and can request service.

💡 Pro Tip: Enable automatic reminders in Settings to notify customers before warranties expire. This is a great upsell opportunity!
